Use case

Public article scraping without the proxy circus.

Articles hide behind client-side rendering, consent walls and regional variants. UnblockingAPI handles browser rendering, country-level routing and retries - you focus on the content.

Built for content data workflows.

Common workflows for media monitoring, research, aggregation and AI teams.

News monitoring

Fetch public news and index pages on a schedule and flag new articles on the topics you follow.

Content aggregation

Collect public articles from many sources into one feed or reading product of your own.

Media research

Gather public coverage across outlets and regions to study how a topic is reported.

AI and data workflows

Give agents and RAG pipelines fresh, rendered article text instead of an empty shell.

Documentation tracking

Watch public docs and changelogs for the pages that matter to your integration.

Competitor content

Follow what competitors publish on their blogs and resource pages.

A new article isn't a data point. It's a trigger.

What you actually do when the content changes.

A source publishes something new.

Pick it up within the hour, not in tomorrow's digest.

A documentation page is updated.

Review the change before it breaks your integration.

A competitor posts on your topic.

Respond while the conversation is still open.

Your corpus goes out of date.

Refresh the sources your model answers from.

The fetching layer is the hard part.

Building it yourself means maintaining all of this:

Browser rendering infrastructure
Proxy rotation and geo-targeting
Retry logic and failure handling
Anti-bot and rate limit handling
Monitoring and scaling
Country-specific content delivery

Frequently asked questions

The core API returns the fully rendered page and your application extracts the fields it needs. Through the MCP server, pages can also come back as Markdown for agents. For fixed fields such as title or date, the visual editor builds a reusable template that returns JSON.

Yes. A plain fetch is tried first and a real browser is used when the site needs one, so you receive the rendered page rather than an empty shell. Site-specific results depend on the target.

UnblockingAPI is built for public pages only. Content behind a login or a subscription is out of scope. Check the terms of the sites you fetch and our acceptable use policy before you collect content.

Talk to us - we can help tune rendering, routing and request strategy for your specific sources. Failed requests are not billed.

No code

Don't want to write any code at all?

unblock_fetch hands back the full rendered page. For clean fields instead - a price, a title, a whole list - build a template visually in the editor: load the page, tap what you want, done. No CSS selectors to write by hand.

Save it and it's a reusable API endpoint - same account, same key, same as the built-in templates. Build the structure once, then call it from your app - or your AI agent - forever.

Working on a content data workflow?

Test a public article URL or talk to us about a difficult source. We'll help you figure out the right rendering, routing and request strategy.

UnblockingAPI is built for public web data and responsible use. Site-specific success depends on the target page, region, rendering mode and anti-bot behavior.
