No multiplier math
Most scraping APIs charge in credits — and every feature multiplies the cost. JavaScript rendering, premium proxies and country routing each add their own multiplier, so you can't predict what a page will actually cost until after you've fetched it. We bill in credits too. Ours just never multiply.
Typical credit-based API
Fetching 10,000 rendered pages through premium proxies:
10,000 pages
× 25 credits per page
= 250,000 credits
25 credits is the going rate for that combination; some platforms charge 125. You find out on the invoice.
UnblockingAPI
Fetching 10,000 rendered pages through premium proxies:
10,000 pages
× 1 credit per page
= 10,000 credits
Rendering, routing and retries are included. One successful request is one credit.
Your credit balance is simply a request count, so the only two numbers you have to plan against are how many requests you make and how many run at once.
What a rendered request really costs
Price per 1,000 JavaScript-rendered requests through premium proxies — the request type most real scraping jobs need — on each platform's public plans.
| Platform | Entry plan | Per 1,000 | Best self-serve rate | Per 1,000 | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
UnblockingAPI 1 credit per successful request — rendering and premium proxies included. | Pay as you Go usage-based | €1.00 | Growth €499/mo | €0.71 | |
Bright Data Web Unlocker Per successful request, rendering included. Standard domains; premium domains are billed higher at an unpublished rate. | Pay as you go usage-based | $1.50 | Scale $1,999/mo | $1.00 | |
Oxylabs Web Scraper API Per successful result at the JS-rendering rate. Proxies bundled. | Micro $49/mo | $1.35 | Business $999/mo | $1.00 | |
ScrapingDog 25 credits per request with JS rendering + premium proxy. | Lite $40/mo | $5.00 | Business $500/mo | $1.39 | |
ScrapingBee 25 credits per request with JS rendering + premium proxy. | Freelance $49/mo | $4.90 | Business+ $599/mo | $1.87 | |
Zyte API Per successful browser-rendered response, priced by site tier. Shown: tier 3 of 5 (moderate site). Tier 5 sites cost 4× more. | Pay as you go usage-based | $4.02 | $500 commitment $500/mo | $1.92 | |
ScraperAPI 25 credits per request with render + premium proxy. | Hobby $49/mo | $12.25 | Professional $975/mo | $2.32 | |
Scrapfly 30 credits per request: residential pool (25) + JS rendering (5). | Discovery $30/mo | $4.50 | Enterprise $500/mo | $2.73 | |
ZenRows 25 credits per request with JS rendering + premium proxy. | Launch $69/mo | $6.90 | Scale $549/mo | $2.75 | |
ScrapingAnt 125 credits per request with browser + residential proxy. | Startup $49/mo | $12.25 | Business Pro $599/mo | $9.36 |
UnblockingAPI charges 1 credit per successful request with rendering and premium proxies included, so a plan's credit allowance is its rendered-request allowance; Pay as you Go is the €1 per 1,000 list rate on top-up packs, which never expire. Other credit-based platforms: monthly credits ÷ the credits they charge for one request with JavaScript rendering and premium proxies, per their published credit tables. Per-request platforms: their listed browser-rendering rate. Monthly billing and list prices, as published in September 2026; annual billing lowers the UnblockingAPI rates by a further 17%. Prices are shown in each provider's listed currency with no conversion applied.

Top-ups get cheaper on every plan
Credit packs cost the same €10–€100 on every plan, but a subscription adds bonus credits to each one — so the same money buys more credits, and your effective rate drops the higher your plan. Pack credits never expire.

Packs from €0.87 per 1,000
Every plan discounts your top-ups: Scout saves 5%, Builder 9% and Growth 13% against the €1 list rate.
17% off yearly
Annual plans are ten months for twelve, and your credits still arrive every month.
Each column shows what the same pack is worth on that plan; the extra credits are the bonus. Pack credits never expire and are spent only once your monthly plan credits run out, so a top-up carries over month to month. Your bonus rate follows the plan you are on at the time you buy.

Frequently asked questions
Every plan bills in credits, and one successful request costs exactly 1 credit — whether or not it uses JavaScript rendering, country routing or retries. A subscription includes a monthly credit allowance; Pay as you Go buys credits in top-up packs at €1 per 1,000.
A delivered response — any 2xx, plus 404s that the target genuinely returned. Failed requests, timeouts and blocks cost nothing, so retries are on us.
The monthly credits included with a subscription expire at the end of each billing cycle. Credits bought in top-up packs never expire, on any plan.
Requests return 402 until you top up. Packs run from €10 to €100 and never expire — and subscribers get bonus credits in every pack: 5% on Scout, 10% on Builder, 15% on Growth.
A pack costs €1 per 1,000 credits at list — €10 buys 10,000, €100 buys 100,000 — and your plan adds bonus credits on top. The same €100 pack is 105,000 credits on Scout, 110,000 on Builder and 115,000 on Growth, so your effective rate falls from €1.00 to €0.95, €0.91 and €0.87 per 1,000. Packs can be bought on any plan, including Pay as you Go, and the credits never expire.
Your monthly plan credits, since those are the ones that expire at the end of the cycle. Pack credits are spent only after that, so a top-up carries over to the following month instead of being lost.
Yes — that is one of the things a subscription buys. Bonus credits make the same pack go further, so top-ups cost 5% less on Scout, 9% less on Builder and 13% less on Growth than the €1 list rate. Note the saving is smaller than the bonus: 15% more credits for the same money is a 13% lower price per credit.
Annual billing is ten months for twelve — a 17% saving — and your credits still arrive every month. Beyond that, the pack bonuses are the standing discount; larger workloads are priced individually as Enterprise plans.
No. Rendering, country routing and retries are all included in the single credit. A rendered request through a premium proxy costs the same 1 credit as a plain HTML fetch.
Each request in flight counts as one concurrent request. Pay as you Go allows 5, Scout 10, Builder 25 and Growth 50. Going over the limit returns 429 rather than costing extra.
Yes. Every new account starts on Pay as you Go with 500 credits and no credit card required. Contact us if you need more to finish an evaluation.
Yes. You can switch plans as your volume changes. Billing changes may apply depending on your billing period, and any pack credits you have bought stay with you.
Other APIs bill in credits too, but every feature multiplies the cost — a JavaScript-rendered request through a premium proxy typically costs 25 credits, and as much as 125 on some platforms. Here it always costs 1, so your credit balance is simply a request count.
